The story of the name

When Dimitri was younger, his nickname in the games that he played was Sokol, which means "falcon." He learned quickly and became very skillful in anything he tried. He was also very creative and even developed modifications to one of his favorite games: Counter-Strike. After joining the Army and becoming a crewmember on the Abrams tank, he appended the Abrams' designation M1 to his nickname, producing M1Sokol. He used that nickname ever since. In his honor, this website is named after that.
